Boutiques Announced for 2016 Swing & Soiree

One popular and fun part of the Lucky Duck Foundation’s annual Swing & Soiree is the boutique shopping that takes place beneath the white party tent at the Santaluz Club each year. This allows attendees not only to bid on auction items but to shop for unique pieces while enjoying appetizers and sipping on Azunia tequila margaritas. This year three outstanding local boutiques are participating.

For the first time, jewelry designer Brett Krugman’s line Brett Lauren will take part in the Swing & Soiree. The brand has been featured in Instyle Magazine, the New York Daily News and on the Today Show. Three Today Show hosts have sported pieces like necklaces and beaded bracelets that feature semiprecious stones like agate, black onyx and labradorite. The jewelry is made in the US by women who live in local homeless shelters and recovery houses and who are looking to better their current situation.

Krugman’s father was a clothing designer and she spent many years working for high end clothing lines in New York and LA before starting her own brand. In addition to being a vendor at the Swing & Soiree, she’ll be donating and bringing special pieces that are not on her website like pavé diamonds and Tahitian pearls all at special prices.
Bohemian bag maker Daylin Skye Designs is another new vendor this year. The chic hobo bags, clutches and minis are made in Southern California with vegan materials and have feminine details like bows, studs and rosettes.

Two other popular boutiques are returning to the Swing & Soiree this year, the fashion forward traveling clothing shop Dahlia Traveling Boutique and Chris Bolton Jewelry. Founder of Dahlia Traveling Boutique Dahlia Strong says she stocks pieces for the “fashion obsessed woman” that are reasonably priced, but high quality. Strong’s Fall 2016 lineup includes Moto jackets, lace-up front sweaters, off the shoulder tops, maxi dresses and brushed fleece tunics.

Chris Bolton specializes in unique, personalized jewelry. Single tag or toggle necklaces are hand stamped with a personal message like a name, meaningful word or initial right in front of you, making for a fun and interactive shopping experience. Necklaces come in sterling silver or 14k gold.
The Swing & Soiree is October 3rd. To signup click here.
